Espresso Rum Liqueur based cocktail recipes

Espresso Rumtini

Ingredients:

  • 40ml Espresso Rum
  • 25ml Coffee Liqueur (Kahlua, or similar)
  • 25ml Fresh Espresso
  • Garnish with 3 coffee beans

Method:

  1. Brew a fresh shot of espresso.
  2. Add the espresso rum, coffee liqueur and the fresh espresso shot into a cocktail shaker with plenty of ice.
  3. Shake the mix hard for around 15-25 seconds to mix the drink together and create the foamy cocktail topping.
  4. Fine strain the mix into a chilled martini glass.
  5. Garnish with 3 coffee beans.

Flat White Martini

Ingredients:

  • 40ml Espresso Rum
  • 20ml Irish Cream Liqueur (Baileys or similar)
  • 20ml Fresh Espresso
  • Garnish with a sprinkle/dusting of cocoa powder

Method:

  1. Brew a fresh shot of espresso.
  2. Add the espresso rum, Irish cream and fresh espresso into a cocktail shaker with lots of ice.
  3. Shake until the mix is combined, smooth and well chilled.
  4. Strain the mix into a chilled martini glass.
  5. Garnish with a sprinkle/dusting of cocoa powder

Espresso Old Fashioned

Ingredients:

  • 50ml Espresso Rum
  • 10ml Sugar Syrup (you can also use vanilla syrup if you have this instead)
  • 2 Dashes of Bitters
  • Garnish with an orange peel twist

Method:

  1. Add the espresso rum, syrup and bitters into a mixing glass with ice in it.
  2. Stir gently until combined and the mix is well chilled.
  3. Strain the mix into a rocks glass over a single large ice cube.
  4. Garnish with an orange peel twist.

Espresso Mudslide

Ingredients:

  • 30ml Espresso Rum
  • 30ml Coffee Liqueur
  • 30ml Irish Cream Liqueur
  • 30ml Milk or Cream
  • Garnish with a drizzle of chocolate sauce

Method:

  1. Add your espresso rum, coffee liqueur, Irish cream and milk/cream into a cocktail shaker with ice in it.
  2. Shake the mix well until it is combined, smooth and chilled.
  3. Strain the mix into a chilled rocks or coupe glass.
  4. Garnish the drink with a drizzle of chocolate sauce.
