1. Introduction

1.1 By entering this competition, you will agree to be bound by the terms and conditions laid out in the document. Please read carefully before entering this competition.

1.2 The promoter of this competition is The Sweet Potato Spirit Company Ltd, a company registered in England, whose registered office is located at 10th Floor 103 Colmore Row, Birmingham, West Midlands, United Kingdom, B3 3AG.

1.3 This competition is open only to individuals who are aged 18 or over, and residents of the United Kingdom. 

2. How to Enter

2.1 To enter this competition you must do the following:

2.1.1 Sign up to The Sweet Potato Spirit Company email mailing list by entering you email address at https://www.thesweetpotatospiritcompany.com/pages/mailing-list-landing-page

2.1.2 Complete all fields required in the email entry form.

2.1.3 The draw will take place twice a year, with this being at the beginning of January and at the beginning of June.

2.1.4 Only one entry per person is permitted. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified altogether.

3. Prize

3.1 The prize for this competition is a selection of 12 x 50cl bottles of Sweet Potato Spirit Company spirits which may include a selection of Moonshine Liqueurs, Gin Liqueurs, Rum Liqueurs as well as Gins, Rums and Vodka.

3.2 This prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and no cash or product alternative will be offered in exchange.

3.3 If applicable, the winner will be responsible for any additional costs, taxes or expenses related to the prize.

3.4 In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize with another of equal or greater value. 

4. Winner Selection and Notification

4.1 The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries that have been received.

4.2 The competition winner will be notified by email within 10 days of the closing date.

4.3 If the winner does not respond to the notification of winning within a further 7 days from the date of receiving the email, the promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

4.4 The name of the competition winner will be announced via email and may be announced on social media should the promoter wish to do so. By accepting these terms and conditions you consent to the promoter sharing your name as the winner of this competition should you win.

5. Data Protection & Privacy

 5.1 By entering this competition, you agree to receive promotional emails from The Sweet Potato Spirit Company. You can unsubscribe from these emails at any time by following the unsubscribe link in any email sent to you.

5.2 Your personal information will be used only for the purposes of the competition and will not be shared with third parties unless necessary to fulfill the prize or as required by law.

5.3 the promoter complies with the applicable data protection laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), in processing and storing your personal data. 

6. Limitation of Liability

6.1 The promoter is not responsible for any technical issues, errors or malfunctions that may affect the entry process of the ability to participate in the competition.

6.2 The promoter shall not be liable for any loss, injury or damage arising from your participation in the competition, except where liability is mandated by law.

6.3 The promoter is not responsible for re-arranging collection or delivery of the prize should you fail to be available to collect or accept delivery of the prize. You will be given the opportunity to reschedule collection or delivery yourself.

7. General Conditions

7.1 The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition, these terms and conditions, or the prize at any time, without notice, due to events beyond reasonable control.

7.2 If any provision of these terms and conditions is found to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to be in full force and effect.

7.3 These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or related to the competition will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
